Leaking Bainbridge sewer line repaired

A hole in an Eagle Harbor sewer pipe that sent raw sewage into Puget Sound has been repaired. Doug Schulze, Bainbridge Island city manager, said early estimates are that between 400,000 and 450,000 gallons of raw sewage spilled into the sound before the damaged pipe was bypassed as a temporary measure.
